Andrea Vercoe, violin
Andrea Vercoe is an accomplished violinist and violist, originally from the Boston area. Her interest in contemporary music comes from her parents, who are both composers. She has made several recordings with DC-area symphonies, and performed with the Virginia Symphony at Carnegie Hall in 1999. She has participated with summer music festivals such as the Quartet Program in Massachusetts, National Repertory Orchestra in Colorado, and the AIMS Orchestra in Austria. A graduate of Oberlin College in music and Middlebury College in Russian studies, Andrea is also an avid world traveler and speaks French, Russian, and Arabic.
